Advanced vision correction surgery SMILE LASIK

Smile LASIK is a vision correction surgery that complements the shortcomings of LASEK and LASIK, reducing corneal damage and improving customer satisfaction through faster recovery.

Smile surgery is done using femtosecond technology that won the Nobel Prize in Physics

SMILE Surgery is based on femtosecond laser technology, which won the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physics. Femtosecond technology is a technology that incises only the desired area in a short period of time at a speed of one quadrillionth of a second. When applied to SMILE surgery, it can precisely separate only the corneal stromal part and smoothly correct vision.

Low energy, precise laser adjustment and lenticule extraction technology

Carl Zeiss began research on extracting corneal lenticules using an ultra-fine laser range called femtoseconds. After extensive research, VisuMax penetrates the cornea and precisely adjusts the desired position and depth without damaging the frontal part, extracting lenticules of the correct thickness and correcting myopia and astigmatism. This reduces corneal damage by eliminating the need for corneal flap formation or epithelial removal during surgery.
